Hello, my name is Gino Toreli, the founder of Spike Art, Inc. Spike Art was established in 2006. My interest has always been in welding and one day I was looking at a railroad spike and pictured a person. That person then came to life. I started off making figures that were quite simple and continued to add detail plus the sense of motion to capture the feeling of realism and the "at the moment" action. My pieces are hand made from steel, tig welded together, attached to a base, and clear coated to prevent rust. As my photo gallery will show samples of work completed, duplicates will be similar but not exact to the photo as these are hand crafted pieces. Every piece is an original that is signed and numbered. The approximate size of each piece is 7" tall x 8" wide x 5" deep. Larger figures are approximate 14 to 17" tall by 14" wide.
